I’m a first year math teacher at a pretty nice high school in a pretty big city. I used to work in public relations for nonprofits because I like helping people, but then I realized that I never actually saw any of the people I was helping. That’s when I decided to become a teacher so I could see my little people every day. This blog starts about halfway through my first official year of teaching (though I was a long-term substitute in a physics class before that). I’d like to think I’m speaking some truths about classroom life that I haven’t found posted anywhere else on the internet.
P.S. Comments are welcome, but please be kind. In addition to having strong opinions, I also have a ridiculously fragile ego.
